HSL – Helsinki Region Transport

In autumn 2018, HSL identified the need to ensure the reliability and performance of the SQL Server platform used in a highly business-critical system. DB Pro Service’s expert conducted a comprehensive diagnostic of the platform, identifying key problem areas and creating a development plan to identify the corrective actions needed to ensure the platform meets its performance and other requirements.

Based on these findings, a development project was launched, in which the required changes were implemented by the application and service providers. HSL wanted to ensure that it had sufficient database expertise to support itself, so a DB Pro Service expert continued to support the customer in the development project on issues requiring SQL Server expertise. To date, HSL’s experience with DB Pro Services’ expertise has been very positive and it is therefore great that, following a call for tenders in spring 2020, DB Pro Services was selected to continue providing SQL Server expert services to HSL for the next 4 years.
